Trip to Melmaruvathur

It has been my custom a few years back to visit Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi temple during the New Year eve. Eyeing this trend and fortunately this year, I am in the city, I thought I would plan for Melmaruvathur today. I hence opted to start from home around afternoon 3 PM. Since I had a monthly MTC pass I could travel up to Chengalput without purchasing another ticket. So from Chengalput, I took the Villupuram corporation bus to Chengalput. Though there was huge crowds at Chengalput, a bus bound to Pondicherry was just starting and hence got a seating.

Reached Melmaruvathur around 5.45 PM. While leaving the footwear just observed the convoy of Arulthiru Amma crossing the stretch and hence had His darshan too. Due too crowd, only people with irumudi was allowed close to sanctum sanctorum. So our line was crossing from near the perimeter of the temple. Had two darshans of the Lordess. There is another lesser known sannidhi called Atharvana Bhadrakali just outside the temple. There is a board that making pongal here satisfies the ancestors and also this Lordess removes all evil seeded mantras like pilli, soonyam.

For the return journey, got the Tambaram bound bus from Kumbakonam. When the bus was just crossing Singaperumal Koil, it got stuck in traffic. Reached Perungalathur and boarded the local MTC bus to reach Tambaram

Thiruvadhirai Saturday Pilgrimage

Today being Saturday and also the holy star of Thiruvadhirai in the prime, I felt, I would have a couple of temple visits scheduled. I started early in the morning and went towards Pammal to board the bus for Pozhichalur. In Pozhichalur there is a temple dedicated to Lord Shanidev. It is rightly known as Vada-Thirunallaru. The temple also is significant for Sri Samhara Bhairavar. The temple has lot of dogs too.

After spending around an hour in the temple worshipping Lord Shiva, Lordess Parvathi, Lord Shanidev and Lord Sri Samhara Bhairavar along with small sannidhis for Anjaneyar, Navagraham etc I started from there to reach Tambaram Sanitorium to catch the next bus towards Sriperumbudur. It is around an hour ride from Tambaram. I reached there around noon and after going through little long queue had the darshan of Udayavar (Sri Ramanujar), Sri Adhi Kesava Perumal and Sri Yathiraja Nathavalli Thayar.

After 2 PM had the lunch and started back home for catching a bit of rest.

A Trip to “Mirracles Astrology And Hebrew Pyramid Numerology Research Centre”

One of my friend wanted an astrological consultation and we found out a good reliable astrologer from our circles.

Mirracles Astrology And Hebrew Pyramid Numerology Research Centre based in KK Nagar (near ESI hospital and on Kamaraj Salai). The astrologer took time to analyse the horoscopes in detail and gave to-the-point facts and remedies for the same. I would hence like to refer the astrologer for the benefit of others.

Travel tip:

  1. If you are coming from Guindy you need to alight at Ashok Pillar and walk till ESI to catch a bus which enters Kamaraj Salai.
  2. If you are coming from Mambalam, you can alight at ESI itself to change buses.
  3. If you are coming from Vadapalani, you can alight at entrance of Kamaraj Salai and switch to a bus which enters the road.
  4. If you are coming from KK Nagar, then be sure to take the bus that enters Kamaraj Salai.

There is a bus stop close to the shop itself. The closest landmark is Rekha Hospital.

The Night Dream Trip to Thiruvallikeni Paradise

It was quite an interesting dream around three days back. And it was a fairly long dream. The dream walked through the various sections of the temple but not sure the temple showed itself bedecked with more compartments like Thirupathi and packed with insurmountable insurgent crowds. Perhaps it was a fond reminder of the upcoming Vaikunta Ekadasi (yesterday).

Anyways, I stand to offer a sincere thanks to the Lord for the divine blessing dreams in the night too.

Vaikunta Ekadasi Trip to Thiruneermalai

It had been close to five years now since I visited Thiruneermalai, my favorite Divyadesam where you can find four forms of the Lord:

  1. Kidanthan — Ranganatha Perumal
  2. Nadanthan — Ulagalantha Perumal
  3. Irunthaan — Santha Narasimhar
  4. Ninraan — Neervanna Perumal
I hence started around 4.30 PM from near Ashok Pillar. After a brief bargain with the traffic conditions at Olympia Tech Park and Meenambakkam reached Pallavaram at around 5.15 PM. Looked like the bus stand towards Tambaram where the Pazhanthandalam bus (55A) which serves Thiruneermalai is no longer served by it. I asked the Amma Kudineer counter who told me to take the lane opposite where the bus enters. When I crossed the GST road, the checking inspector who was coming there, told the bus is just parked. But by that time the bus had started. He also helped me to get the bus pulled over so that I can board it. The bus became almost full in a few minutes because it was peak hour.
I reached Thiruneermalai around 6 PM. The buses are no longer allowed near the temple and hence a 7 minute walk from the Koot road is required. However private vehicles and hire autos are allowed though.  I first chose to climb the hill to have the darshan of the first three forms. Though there was a little crowd, the darshan was good. Downhill had the darshan of Sri Bhaktha Anjaneyar.
After climbing down entered the downhill temple where you get to cross the Sorgavaasal which is the highlight of Vaikunta Ekadasi. The Utsavar was also decorated in the majestic fashion.

After having darshan of Perumal, Thaayar (Animamalar Mangai Thayar), Andal, Hanuman and Ramar, started from there to reach Chromepet via Pallavaram and back home.
