The Sacred Evening Trip to Thiruverkadu

Today by evening my current contract was getting completed and the vendor had placed me with a different client from tomorrow. So got all the relieving from the current client and then I thought I would have a visit to Thiruverkadu. I took a bus from Guindy to CMBT. From CMBT interestingly I got the 27C from T. Nagar. The bus was quite packed at least till Maduravoyal market. Only after that I got a place to sit. I reached Thiruverkadu after a one and half trip at 7.30 PM. After finding a place to leave the footwear I had to rush inside the temple. Fortunately the crowd was manageable and hence had a very comfortable and relaxed darshan at the temple.

After spending around 30 minutes in the temple started back and caught the direct bus to Tambaram from Thiruverkadu. It managed to reach Chromepet by 9.10 and hence hopped off there to catch the small bus S3 which takes a shorter route to my residence.

The Pournami Trip to Chennai Trisakthi Temple

Quite early in the morning I started from Tambaram towards Thiruvotriyur. The roads were quite free and hence in less than an hour the bus reached Toll Gate. After waiting for 10 to 15 minutes, I got a bus to Melur to visit the early morning Trisakthi. After completing the temple, caught a return bus to Thiruvotriyur. Had a chance to witness the abhishekam also in the noon pooja. After a brief lunch at Thiruvotriyur now caught a bus to CMBT from where I need to take a bus to Thirumullaivoyal (Avadi).

In Thirumullaivoyal along with the Trisakthi, had a darshan of Pachaiamman in whose temple got some sweet pongal also. After completing darshan took the bus towards Ambattur OT to catch D70 to Velachery towards back home.
