A Trip to Oracle Technology Day 2011

Today was the scheduled trip to Oracle Technology Day 2011 at Hyatt Residency, Reston VA. The topic was ‘Private Cloud Consolidations and Security’. I had already booked my slots for the same. Since the PRTC services form my region to West Falls Church are restricted I chose to start as early as 5.45 AM. I reached West Falls Church Metro around 6.30 AM. This was the first time I had a view of the other side of West Falls Church Metro station which had connecting buses to Vienna and Fairfax Connectors. I reached Reston at around 7.30 AM.

Since I could not immediately locate the Hyatt Residency I was just thinking of asking a Federal Security Office nearby who guided me the location. After about five minutes stroll reached the hotel. The day started with sumptous breakfast with sweet thirst-quenching energizer drinks.

The sessions were packed beyond limits of information and it was really a rewarding journey. The lunch was really delicious. They did have restricted vegetarian meals as always witnessed in this part of the world though. After completing the meeting started back to home around 4 PM.

Took a few snaps  during the trip which I have shared across over here.
